The recipe to trump all recipes? Quite possibly. The great taste and carb combination of regular Soreen to keep you energised, with an injection of protein. Get your aprons ready, it’s time to make some protein soreen!


1.) Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees C.

2.) Add the raisins, cherries, malt extract butter and water to a pan and simmer until the butter is completely melted.

3.) Meanwhile in a bowl mix together the almond flour, vanilla whey, Truvia, baking powder and bicarbonate of soda.

4.) Add the hot fruit mixture to the dry mixture in the bowl and mix well. Stir into the batter the egg and mix well again.

5.) Pour the batter into a silicone loaf pan and bake for 30-35 minutes until fully baked throughout (tooth pick will come out clean).

6.) Leave to cool before slicing up. Can keep the slices frozen for when needed.
