Good and cheap overall Review by Unknownstarz
I've read comments saying it taste better with milk but I think it taste better with water. Flavour wise it taste exactly like a non sugar soya milk. I grew up drinking soya milk so having this as protein and tasting like it is a win win. (Posted on 01/08/2016)
Another Super product!! Review by Flo
I use this in place of flour in pancakes every morning, it has next to no flavour so lends it's self well to added flavours I use cinnamon. Using a hand whisk I find it mixes easily and leaves no lumps and cooks just like normal pancakes would they are fluffy and wonderful! Highly recommended you try this product. (Posted on 04/07/2016)
Perfect if you have whey allergies or are vegan Review by SomeMuthaFunky
This is the one for me. I love the Whey products, great flavours great results but I have allergies to milk that mean I end up with terrible bloating when using whey products. The SOYA PROTEIN ISOLATE 90 is definitely the one for me. It is a fairly neutral flavour. If you have milk allergies then the chances are you are using soya milk anyway so the taste won't bother you. It mixes well in a shaker, though I sometimes get some powder stuck in the bottom that won't mix. Very small amounts though.

I mix this with the Ultrafine Scottish Oats and it results in a shake that tastes like porridge. It's great if you work out in the mornings in a fasted state. If you use the oats then yes it's going to be a little bitty in texture but it tastes good. If you want to add flavour then something like Nesquik will do it but I think this is just fine as is. Great Review by GR
Mixes well in a shaker/nutribullet and tastes really good with banana and water - the protein is really creamy when mixed. Will deffo buy again and comes with a good sized scooper. (Posted on 24/02/2016)
Great source of veggy protein Review by Andy
I've found this to be a great source of protein. Easily digested and mixes well when blended. I mix it into a shake of banana, cocoa powder and coconut, which really complements the flavour. (Posted on 24/07/2015)
    Great stuff Review by Njal
I found this mixes very well just in a shaker and the taste is certainly better than unflavoured whey protein which I find to be awful.

To be honest there isn't much taste, but sometimes I add a scoop of superfine oats and one of dextrose and it tastes creamy and delicious.

Don't put too much water in, that makes it taste a bit worse.

Is a good way of adding 27g of protein quickly. (Posted on 04/03/2015)
    Great value Review by Ella
Excellent product with a low price! Although this product probably doesn't taste great on its own mixed with water, I like to mix it in hot chocolate or with the sweetner I put on my cereal which works well for me. Second time buying this product and definitely not the last:) (Posted on 24/02/2015)
    IMPRESSED Review by Andrius
Not easy to mix, need to use a blender.
I don't use much sugar so taste is very good for me with sweetened soya milk.
But most important thing is......Price:) (Posted on 09/02/2015)
    First Class Review by NSW
Hmm, why the negative reviews? Can't understand it.

This is cheap and it works; it also spares you from the dreaded whey farts. I mix it up in a shaker with soya milk, honey or maltodextrin and it is lovely hot or cold.

cheaper - but is it worth it Review by Ray
To me both the taste and the texture are awful. The only way I can stomach it is to use a blender to mix with water and a banana. But it's cheap.

Does its job well Review by Chris
This has worked well for me, I've seen results as good as when using pure whey or other types of protein powders that are a lot more expensive. The taste is not great but personally I don't think that is a priority, for me it's all about value for money, quality and results and this does the job.

Going back to the taste I've tried mixing it with coffee which I think improved it but recently used nesquik chocolate milkshake powder which works really well and helps blend it with water much better. Now I'm using nesquik strawberry which is just as good, and as good a taste as any flavoured protein in my opinion. Awesome if you're on a budget! (Posted on 15/11/2014)
    THUMBS UP Review by martin
I have been using this product for a few month and really cant understand the negative feed back regarding taste, i have 4 drinks a day mixed with water, not a problem,, if you do have issues with taste, simply add a heaped table spoon of chocolate flavoring, for me, water does the trick just fine.... Tastes like Ash, but works Review by Croc
I have as of yet been able to use this in any pre or post-workout shake as the lack of carbohydrates like oats and other flavouring ingredients means they can't mask the incredibly strange, ash-like taste this product has. I've tried on a few occasions (and accidentally once, instead of using whey protein), but although not out of this world like the 'bubblegum' HydroBeef, I just can't stand it. I'd recommend just getting the whey isolate if you're lactose intolerant and only intend on using protein powders for this purpose.

If however, you're using this in a standard protein shake however than it's pretty good, the flavour can be masked by flavours like banana and vanilla, and it works pretty well. Just make sure to also use another amino acid complete protein to compliment this one. (Posted on 10/07/2014)
    Very impressed Review by Joycelyn
After reading other reviews i was kind of dreading tasting it but was pleasantly surprised. Tastes similar to porridge made with water. Mixes well, no lumps, will buy again. (Posted on 08/07/2014)
Good with other Review by Eduardo
This is actually a good protein, tastes a little bad on its own, but with water and adding a banana you dont notice the bad flavour, or even with skimmed milk.

NO sugars and NO GMO and with a good price. Nothing more to ask. (Posted on 20/05/2014)
Does the job Review by Emma
I liked this product in terms of it does what it is meant to and has good nutritional value.

Good for anyone sensitive to dairy, but the lack of flavour is a turn off. It is not very easily mixed but the one plus I did have is that is turns out great in baking pancakes, etc. if you are into that sort of thing.

A good product, if you don't mind the taste. (Posted on 21/03/2014)
Amazing nutrition. Horrific taste. Review by Jon
I don't know if to give this 5 star.

    *Nutrition and price 5 stars
    *Taste 1 star
    *Mixability 4 stars

Overall I'll give 4 star as it doesn't hit full 5 star but that's purely because of the taste. I am 2.5kg through my 10kg and I can't wait to finish :P

I can't find anything good and cheap to add to it to fix the taste. Please message me if you know a good mix, and it can't be peanut or eggs, I hate them! (Posted on 01/09/2013)
GREAT AS A 50/50 MIX WITH WHEY Review by stephen philip
SOYA IS A GOOD ALTERNATIVE TO WHEY. I FIND WHEY TO BE A BIT SICKENING SOMETIMES, SO I DO NOT INGEST AS MUCH PROTEIN AS I SHOULD. WHEY BEFORE AND AFTER A WORK OUT IS GOOD, BUT THIS SOYA PRODUCT IS GREAT IN SHAKES AND FOOD, MIXES WELL, AND IS TASTELESS. NO SUGAR ADDED, AND IS G.M.O. FREE.

THE AMINO CONTENT IS GOOD, AND DOES NOT CLUMP AND I HAVE NOT NOTICED ANY DIFFERENCE USING A 50 /50 DIET, IN FACT I CONSUME MORE PROTEIN THIS WAY, SO THE RESULTS ARE BETTER. (Posted on 10/01/2013)
TRY A 50/50 DIET OF WHEY AND SOYA Review by stephen bartrup
THIS SOYA PRODUCT IS AN EXCELLENT ALTERNATIVE TO WHEY, I FIND WHEY TO BE A BIT SICKENING ON MY STOMACH, SO I TEND TO INGEST LESS. CUTTING DOWN ON WHEY AND INGESTING SOYA PROTEIN IS A GOOD WAY OF KEEPING UP PROTEIN INTAKE.

THIS SOYA PRODUCT IS PLAIN TASTING AND NO SUGAR ADDED AND NONE G.M.O.

IT'S GOOD IN SOUPS AND OTHER TASTY FOOD, AND I DON'T SEE ANY DIFFERENCE IN MY GROWTH OR PERFORMANCE. IT MIXES FINE, AND IT'S GOOD TO HAVE A CHANGE FROM DAIRY PRODUCTS. AMINO CONTENT IS GOOD. (Posted on 10/01/2013)
    Great product Review by Haroon
I've been using Soya and Pea Protein for a while now and have to say they're both great! The high protein content and lack of flavour means you obviously get more protein per gram compared to branded whey as they add so much cocoa/sweetner etc. With this, you just add your own pure cocoa or sweetener and you're good to go.

Just a note on taste; it isn't great, it's just about bearable... I just gulp it down if I'm in a rush and ignore it. (Posted on 13/10/2012)
    hexane? Review by antonio
frank I think your surname could be "STUPID". do you think that proteins from organic soy beans came out with magic words or by fart? (Posted on 08/10/2012)
    Good shake Review by Sean
I use this as my pre gym shake, mixed with half cup oats and a tablespoon of peanut butter. It shakes well with a neutral taste, I will add honey or BP LiquiFlav to make it taste yum. I find very easy on the stomach and at least it is 1 less lactose containing shake for the day. ie less bloat. (Posted on 28/08/2012)
Sadly, manufacture with hexane — a carcinogen Review by Fit Frank
Soy protein is normally great, if it's organic, because otherwise, a known carcinogen (hexane) is used in the protein extraction process from soya beans.

I would stick to pea protein or hemp protein instead.

Note from BulkPowders: Thanks for your feedback. We do not use Hexane in the direct production of this product. Soya Protein Isolate is analysed for Hexane, and it comes under the minimum sensitivity of the test. This means the Hexane content, if any, is less than 1 part per million. (Posted on 18/07/2012)
