What is Green Tea?

Green Tea was discovered over 4000 years ago by a Chinese Emperor. It derives from a plant called the Camellia Sinensis.

Where to find Green Tea:

Green Tea only derives from the Camellia Sinensis plant, so it does not naturally occur in any foods.

A study carried out in Europe on healthy males confirmed this. The participants who supplemented with Green Tea burned 4% more energy than the placebo, and over a longer period of time.

Great stuff, horrible taste
"Not only this extract tastes like death if taken orally, it also sticks to your mouth and doesn't wash down with water, so the horrible taste sticks!

The most convenient way to consume this powder, besides capping, is to use it like "instant tea", ie heating a cup of water and mixing 1/3 teaspoon to make green tea (larger amount can give you nausea and an upset stomach). I'm planning to spice this with mint, which should be a good option for low carb dieters.

Since 1/3 tsp is about 300 milligrams, one 500g tub of this stuff can make some 1500 cups of tea. How's that for cheap and convenient? It's much quicker, too, than using tea bags."

Completely disagree about taste
"Taste isn't that bad at all!

I use 1 level tablespoon in 500 ml water and it's awesome. I drink 2 liters a day of this stuff. But beware: if you drink too much of it in a short time it can make you feel slightly nauseous.

Also be sure to take it on an empty stomach in the morning for maximum effect. If you take it with a protein meal the green tea will bind with the protein making it ineffective."
