What is BP Basics Egg White Powder?

Nutritionists commonly refer to eggs as the "Gold Standard" of protein quality. Eggs contain all eight of the essential amino acids (the type that your body cannot make from other substances) and very high levels of total amino acids - especially important sulphur-containing aminos. Eggs are also readily digested and absorbed. As a lactose-free protein source, eggs are often more tolerable to people who have trouble with dairy foods. For these and other reasons, eggs have been a staple of bodybuilders diets since the beginning of the sport.

How should I use it?

Egg white powder can be seen as the �middle-man’ between whey and casein, with whey absorbing ultra fast and casein ultra slow. Egg white powder is somewhere in between, making it ideal for use in between meals for a sustained protein release of approximately 4 hours.

It has all the benefits of real egg whites but without the effort of preparing them! Furthermore it does not need to be refrigerated meaning it can be taken to work, on journeys or even on holiday!

Half a dozen eggs in one shake!
"OK I admit, that is a bit exaggerated, four to five is more realistic at the standard serving size. But to me this product is a great way to get plenty of "eggs" in without actually have to eat so much volume. On top of that with whole egg you will also get the yolk in which has too many fats for my diet. Can't tell you yet if it "works", but mixing ith with your regular shake works nice for me. As far As I have expierenced it has not taste (fine with me). However, when shaken with whey you do get a layer of "thick foam" on top which is less appetizing, but I'll work that out."
