Acetyl-L-Carnitine is a naturally occurring amino acid compound, composed of Acetic Acid and L-Carnitine bound together.

Acetyl-L-Carnitine is found to be naturally occurring in both the human body and milk.
Acetyl-L-Carnitine can also be referred to as
ALCAR, ALC, LAC, Acetyl-Carnitine and L-Acetyl-Carnitine.

Serving Size
There is no established RDA for ALCAR. For performance or health benefits we recommend taking 0.5g 2-3 times daily.

Timing
ALCAR is best taken on an empty stomach, however please note that this may cause some stomach discomfort.
Safety
ALCAR has been well-researched and is a safe supplement. However no studies have been carried out to determine if it is suitable for pregnant or breast-feeding women.
Toxicity
There is no known toxicity of ALCAR.
Bans/Restrictions for Use

"This stuff is f'kin AWESOME! Take @ 5g immediately before workouts & put on The Prodigy's 'Firestarter' & you'll be nutting the walls! Best way to use it though, is to mix up 5g in @ 200ml traditional lemonade (almost completely disguises the acetic taste), drink some immediately before & the rest periodically during the workout. For a TOTALLY INSANE workout, use with Ephedrine HCL. Be Strong & Be Healthy :)" |
